What is a Princess?

Princess — A female member of a monarch’s family or the wife of a prince. A princess often has duties and responsibilities related to her royal status, including representing the monarchy at official events, promoting charitable causes and maintaining diplomatic relationships. In some cases, a princess may be a hereditary sovereign, head of state in her own right. The term is also used for the consort of a prince, a daughter of a monarch or other royalty, or an unmarried daughter of a sovereign or nobleman of sufficient rank. A princess is usually styled Her Highness.

A woman who has a princess mentality is conceited and stuck up and thinks she’s better than everyone else. She is accustomed to having other people do things for her and expects them to fawn over her. A girl who is a princess likes to dress in extravagant outfits and have many servants and only knows how to have a good time.

When a man calls a girl a princess, it means that he thinks she is beautiful and special. He loves her very much and wants to show his love for her by calling her this. He probably isn’t a real prince but he is trying to make you believe that he is. This is a sweet thing to do but you should be careful about this type of compliment because it could be taken as a negative way. Princesses are beautiful on the inside and outside.
