A princess is a female member of a monarch’s family, most often the daughter or close relative. The male equivalent is a prince (from Latin, princeps, meaning principal citizen). In some cases, a woman who is not royalty but marries into it becomes a princess when she becomes queen consort.
Once upon a time, there lived a pretty princess Naomy who lived with her stepmother and two stepsisters in the kingdom. She had beautiful hair, dazzling eyes and a radiant smile that stunned everyone around her. The dukes, barons, counts and earls of the kingdom wanted to marry her but she politely declined each one. She always dreamt of meeting her prince and she drew pictures of him.
Princess had good friends and animals like deer, squirrels, birds and turtles. Her friends loved her and helped her when needed. Once she had a terrible nightmare and she got stuck in the castle. She waited for the king to come but as days went by she got worried. She started to wonder if she was really a princess and whether the prince would ever find her.
Princess is a story of self-confidence and pursuing what you love. We all have things that we want in life, don’t wait for someone to make them happen to you. Go out and do the things that will enrich your life, you never know what may happen! And if you are lucky enough to meet a prince, remember to treat him with respect. He deserves it!
